Graduating to "Black Beauty"
So, I have graduated from the hard plaster cast to the "Black Beauty": this fine, right lower leg prison made of aluminum, hard rubber, foam pads, and lots of Velcro. This is my second journey along the path toward recovery from a ruptured Achilles' tendon. In God's time, it will heal. Then, I will be liberated to once again walk and, perhaps, run independently of an exoskeletal servant.
